First-rounder Jabrill Peppers is in the fold with the Cleveland Browns

Browns fans haven’t had much to get excited about in recent years, but there was good news Monday when multi-tasking defender Jabrill Peppers signed a four-year, $10.3 million contract with the team that drafted him in the first round.

Peppers was the Big 10 defensive Player of the Year last season, when he played 15 positions for the University of Michigan on offense, defense and special teams, recording 726 snaps on defense, 154 on special teams and 53 on offense.

Cleveland fans surely are happy to have Peppers aboard, as all 10 of the Browns' draft choices are now signed in time for training camp, yet Cleveland.com columnist Bill Livingston kind of poked at him because, well, he played for Michigan.
