The Mason High School club ice hockey team won the Cincinnati High School Hockey League Tournament on March 3.
As the fifth seed to begin the tournament, the Comets defeated Northern Kentucky 5-0. The team then went on to defeat Lakota West 4-3. Mason won the championship game 8-4 over the No. 1 seed Lakota East.
The Mason Comets participated in the Ohio High School State Club Hockey Championships last weekend at Cincinnati.
The Comets are coached by Seth Knudsen, Jerry O’Grady and Phil Dubois.
