LIBERTY TWP. —

Cincinnati-based real estate firm Comey & Shepherd Realtors is building a new office in Butler County.

Constructions starts this week on a two-story, 7,000-square-foot regional office located at 6764 Cincinnati-Dayton Road in Liberty Twp.

Once complete, real estate agents from Comey & Shepherd’s existing local office in on Liberty Centre Drive in Liberty Twp. will move to the new building. The move is expected to happen early next year.

The new office represents a 30 percent increase in square footage with updated work spaces and technology to accommodate Comey’s growth in the residential and commercial markets in the Northern Corridor, the real estate firm said.

“Liberty Township, West Chester, Mason, among other Northern Corridor areas, represent a significant area of opportunity for us,” said Scott Nelson, chief executive officer of Comey & Shepherd, in a statement.

Comey’s West Chester/Liberty office had over 500 transactions in 2012 with $ 90+ million in sales.
