The completed project was the first for a father and son in Fairfield’s Troop 902. Austin’s Dad, Brad Vanoss, received his Eagle award 23 years ago. There has never been a two-generation Eagle award in this troop before, according to Austin’s grandmother, Marilyn.

“We have five Eagle Scouts now in our immediate family, our two sons and three grandsons,” Marilyn said.
