Clearcreek Twp. has partnered with Springboro to help build a park in honor of the victims killed in a plane crash.

The park is being built at Crossley and Lytle-Five Points road in memory of Kacie Jane Hausfeld and her father, Tom, who was killed in a 2010 plane crash.

“We are so fortunate in our community to have such a terrific working partnership with the City of Springboro, who invited us to partner with them on this wonderful park,” said Clearcreek Administrator Matthew Clark. “The Board of Trustees felt strongly about supporting the development of the park when asked last year but had to work out the finances of the partnership in their current budget.”
